Stephi's a gorgeous light brown maiden carrying genetics from the Accoyo Victor line. Understanding the exceptional qualities of Victor helps to outline the superb genetic package that Stephanie offers.
Victor was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation in 1994, and in the words of the late Dr. Jim Vickers had the "most beautiful fleece." Victor's fleece swept the awards in the 1995 AOBA Fleece Show, garnering awards for best Growth, most Uniform Huacaya, Best Crimp, Spinner's Choice, and Cottage Industry Choice. At the 1997 AOBA Fleece Show, his fleece took first place for Adult Fawn Huacaya and overall Knitter's Choice. He shears well over 14 pounds per year and has an average staple length of over 6 inches.
Victor's has produced numerous champion offspring with their hallmark traits including superior crimp, density, fineness, staple length and dynamite color. And Stephie looks to be fully equipped with these traits as well. She is extrremely fine at 22 MC for being such a dark animal, with nice crimp and lovely color. Out of award winning PRA Ventura, a Victor son, Stephi displays a lovely soft handling fleece that exhibits bundling and amazing shine! She's a perfectly balanced girl, strong of bone girl with a perfect bite. She has blacks and dark browns on her dam's side and light to medium fawns on her sires side.
Stephanie's first cria out multi-champion Shaquille, is a gorgeous dark fawn boy. He is large like his dam and sire with a shiny, crimpy fleece. He will be entering the show ring in the Fall of 2006. Stephanie is being rebred to true black multiple champion Canzelle's Zambesi. We expect a dark, most likely black, cria from this pairing.
