Kimimela is a powerhouse of elite genetics for superb fleece and in color. On her maternal side she has her dam, Kiva, a gorgeous solid rose grey who when shorn has a glistening lavender appearance, grand dam Clarice, a statuesque shiny true black, and grand sire, Accoyo Bruxo, known to produce cria of color with super greasy lustrous fleeces. On her paternal side she has sire, High Octane by Torbio, 5 time champ and winner of 13 blue ribbons, and grand sire, the incomparable Accoyo Torbio, considered one of the best Accoyo sires in the U.S. This palette of rich genetics comes together in the form of this lovely maroon, super shiny, perfectly conformed girl. But it's no surprise, as these genetics have proven to be the ingredients for great things in the past. Kimimela's maternal 1/2 sister is a gorgeous black Color Champion herself. And we expect similar honors for HaSu Kimimela! In fact at her first 2 shows, the 2008 North American Alpaca Show and the 2008 MAPACA Jubilee, she was awarded second. And this latter award is quite note worthy, as the MAPACA show is considered one of the most competitive suri shows in the industry and this 2008 show, was the largest alpaca show in the world. Kimimela will be resuming her show career in the fall, so look for her in the winners circle.
