This medium fawn male needs little introduction, as his charming inquisitive nature impels him to introduce himself. But besides his delightful personality, he is an exceptional male. Just part his dense, bright caramel fleece and you will see top drawer quality expressed in individual bundles with high frequency crimp that is uniform from tail to ear tip. His exquisite fleece and striking looks are signature traits of his bloodlines, Hemingway and Accoyo Chimbote, Samson's maternal and paternal grand sires. Hemingway's extreme fineness, tight crimp and uniformity and Chimbote's superior density and exceptionally high shear weights all come together in Samson and make for a male who has all the fiber characteristics you could hope for. He is a recent purchase of HaSu's and will enter the show ring for the first time at 2 years of age.
Samon's sire, NWA/Line Einstein is a son of the legendary Peruvian Hemingway, famed for producing cria with exceptionally fine, crimpy, uniform fleeces. Einstein also was blessed with Hemingway's other most desirable trait, and that is the ability to maintain fineness as he ages. And like Hemingway, Einstein bestows this ability to his cria as well.
TAF Chanel, Samson's dam is a 1/2 Accoyo mahogany brown girl with buttery soft fleece that retains fineness well into adulthood. At 5 years of age, she surpasses many white animals with her incredible histogram, 23.9 MC, 4.2 SD, 21.7, CV and 2.3% >30. Chanle comes from the legendary Accoyo Auzengate line via her sire, Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote, who is considered one of Accoyo Auzengate's best sons. He is a highly decorated male with picture perfect conformation and unbelievable density, He shears nearly 13 pounds and that does not include his leg, neck and belly fiber. He is known to pass on superior fineness, and density to his cria along with rock solid conformation. And Samson, like his dam, got these in spades.
Samson will begin his breeding career in the Spring of 2009. We expect him to follow in his esteemed relatives paths and produce exceptionally fleece alpacas with text-book conformations. Reserve a breeding today and receive his low introductory breeding fee, $1200.00
