At HaSu Ranch Alpacas, we believe that the success of the alpaca industry is in large part due to the support and community provided by the various organizations functioning within it. These organizations create arenas for sharing ideas and knowledge that help to keep the industry as a whole, vital, relevant and continually moving toward a higher place. HaSu Ranch is proud to be a member of the following organizations
AOBA
The association, established in 1988, is the governing organization of the alpaca industry in the United States.

EAA
This association is New York State's AOBA regional affiliate. It purpose is lo promote, educate and support the alpaca breeders, owners and enthusiasts of New York State. And at the same time it aims to educate the public about alpacas as a profitable livestock investment and to support the alpaca fiber industry within North America.

IAC
The IAC is a collective effort that is intended to create the maximum opportunity for profitable farms and elite herds for the individual members. This is achieved through a sharing of progeny tested genetics via Studmaster" males and transparent reporting of fleece measurements.

Suri Network
An affiliate of AOBA, this organization is dedicated to the preservation of the suri alpaca. It's purpose is to promote the awareness of and interest in suri alpacas, their fiber and related business interests.

ARI
The Alpaca Registry, Inc., a Colorado non-profit corporation, maintains the Alpaca Registry database housing the genealogy, blood typing and ownership records of alpacas in North America since 1988.
